Default Oven doesn't heat up all the way
Brand: Magic Chef
Model Number: 3888 VRV
Age: More than 10 years

I set the oven for 450 and it maybe will get to 250. The digital display will beep and indicate that it thinks it is up to temp, but it isn't.

I tested the oven sensor and it reads 1150 ohms at room temp. Could it still be the sensor, or is there anything else to check? Thanks.

If the sensor was faulty the clock would display an F3 code and would not heat.

Is it possible that the clock is reading in Celsius or is it not hot enough in the oven?

Here is a link to your range model 3888 VRV.

The oven simply is not getting hot enough. I measured it with an oven thermometer and the oven thinks it is at 450, but the thermometer only reads 250.

It sounds like the clock control is faulty.
