Default Oven does not Heat, display works, fan comes on
Brand: Frigidaire
Model Number: ples389dcc
Age: 1 - 4 years

recently it looks like something has fallen on my bottom heating element in the oven and it overheated it and broke. I got a new element and installed it but the oven still doesnt heat. Bake or broil does not work. The display works, stove top works, and the fan comes on when I put it on bake or broil but I get no heat. I took the back off and put a multimeter on the element terminals and they show no power to them, neither top nor bottom element.
Where else could my problem lie? Has anyone else had this problem and found it fixable. I am very handy but have never done applaince work before. Just tell me where to get started, any help is much appreciated.

Default

I take that back about no voltage to the terminals of the element. I rechecked it and got 120 volts at each of the terminals.
Is there a chance I just bought a bad element somehow
