Default Oven control Panel - should I try it ?
Brand: Jenn-Air
Model Number: W276
Age: More than 10 years

My convection oven has started beeping, and everything I've tried won't stop it.....(including leaving the power off over night) It has a FO fault code, and after researching, it says I need to replace the control panel......... Is this something I can do myself...... The part is over $200 and I am wondering if I can do it myself. Any help will be appreciated.

Is the keypad responsive at all? I usually disconnect the keypad by unplugging the ribbon cable to it. Then I reapply power and check for beeping. If none you probably have a warped/shorted keypad.
If no separate keypad, ignore this advice.

I disconnected the ribbon like cord and finally the thing stopped beeping, at least I can use the microwave on the same braker circuit ! There is no response after I reconnected it, from the keypad on the front. Thanks so much for your interest in helping me ! :o)

I have a Jenn-air convection oven, model # WM2780B, it is beeping also, whenever a push a button it starts beeping and will not stop until I hit cancel. My display comes on and goes off...

Did you figure out if it was the control panel? If not, has it been repaired? What was the problem and how much did it cost you?

Talking I did fix my oven !

I was quite proud of myself......the cost of the total repair was going to be over $500. The part I needed to buy cost $200 by itself...... Take the front control panel off and unplug the ribbon like wire.....if it stops beeping. That means that the control panel needs replacing. That was exactly what was wrong with mine. It is really simple, but the part is pricey.
