Default Oven Burns Food
Brand: Frigidaire
Model Number: FEF352BAWB
Age: 5 - 10 years

My oven is burning all my food before cooking time is up. I have replaced the sensor and it still does it. The oven seems to be getting too hot. Can this be the element or the digital clock control panel?

It would be the clock control if the sensor is working.

The sensor should read between 1000 and 1100 ohms at room temperature.

Here is a link to your range model FEF352BAWB.

I have tested the sensor on my range. It is at 1129 ohms..is that bad? I had put a new one on but it didn't fix the problem and I returned it. It wasn't a Fridgedare part like the one that was on it. Should I try another sensor but Fridgedare or would it still be another problem. It is hard to believe it would be the cloclk panel because the range isn't that old .. about 7 years. It came with the house when we bought it.

Your sensor is fine.

Replace your clock/oven control.
