Oven Burner Off
Brand:
General Electric
Model Number:
JBP78WY2ww

When I turn on the oven the top broiler element turns on and the bottom element will not. No matter what setting the dial is on the top element lights.
Need advice.

It sounds like you have a failed bake element.
To test the element you will need an ohm meter.
Unplug the range and remove the element.
If the element is a 3600 watt element the resistance will be about 16 ohms.
Here is a link to your
range model JBP78WY2ww
.
Also check for burnt wires.
