Going Mad is on a distinguished road
Angry Oven
Brand: Kenmore
Model Number: 665 75824000
Age: 5 - 10 years

We have a Kenmore Gas Range, Model # 665 75824000

It is to say the least, TEMPERAMENTAL, with the accent on MENTAL. In the summer months the oven, broiler and clean mode work fine. Now in the colder months, we push the bake mode and then the start button, we hear the click of the relay up top, but not the second one from the igniter nor the sound of the burner coming. on. Sometimes we can get the broiler to come on and after a while try the Bake mode and it works. Sometimes that won't work and we go to oven Clean mode and let it get up to temperature, shut it off and the bake will work. This goes on now for the last 5 years.

Today none of the "tricks" worked and I took it apart, just the covers and shields so I could see the burners. All the igniters looked to be in good shape and having my Son hit the buttons tried to lite with a lighter and nothing there either. Put it back together and tried one more time, and Whoosh it started. Do I need parts to fix it or a Priest to cast the Demons out?

Please help
