 Oven Brand: General Electric Model Number: JKP16GJ Age: More than 10 years
The inside glass broke on the door to our oven. We have ordered and received part number 251937. There is no frame around the glass. The previous glass was held in by a metal frame that was welded around the glass. We had to remove the entire frame - could not remove just the glass. There is not a way to insert the piece we have just received without the metal frame. Can not use the existing frame without cutting it apart and having it welded back together.
Questions - Is this is wrong part entirely? Was it shipped before it was completed? How do we get one that has the frame already around the glass? |
