Default Old Hardwick stove
Brand: Hardwick
Model Number: unknown
Age: More than 10 years

I've been told have a 1968 Hardwick combo gas range (upper oven, stove top, lower oven). Recently my lower oven knob/thermostat was broken off. There is a metal plate inside the back of the stovetop with these numbers: R6478A-87A and 5026 and 607. On the back the thermostat it says RobertShaw Model U HF and the number 1.
Any suggestions for locating a replacement or getting it refurbished?

Because of the age of you range you will likely have to get an universal control.

There should be a tag on the range somewhere that has the model and serial number of the range.

Have you tried a locale repair shop?

They may have a cross reference list for a replacement control.
