Default Odd PF Problem with Whirlpool Oven
Brand: Whirlpool
Model Number: GMC305PRQ01
Age: Less than 1 year

Purchased a house this January of 07. Came with a whirlpool combination oven/microwave.

Problem:

Normal operation for this oven follows... After the oven is used and turned off, the oven goes into cooldown mode and circulates hot air out of the oven until it reaches a set temperature, then the fan shuts off.

The problem with my oven is that during this cooldown cycle, the fan shuts off, a beep sounds, and the console will reset and display 12:00 in addition to the PF fault code. This problem is intermittent; I would say it happens around 90% of the time.

The oven and microwave cook fine, so I dont think there is an issue of intermittency with regards to the household 220 power connection. I still believe it's an oven issue.

Whirlpool has come to my house 4 times; as of recent they replaced the control board. Can anyone give advice of what is causing this problem. I am going mad trying to get this annoying little problem fixed.

It is hard to determine what is happening without see it but it might be the space between the glass and the timer.

You should make sure that it is fixed before your warranty runs out.

Here is a link to your oven model GMC305PRQ01.
