Unhappy No power to oven after self-cleaning
Brand: KitchenAid
Model Number: KEBS247D
Age: 5 - 10 years

I ran the self-cleaning cycle on the upper oven and everything seemed normal. After cleaning was complete and oven had cooled (next day) the oven would not unlock and none of the panel controls work. I turned off the circuit breakers for 5 min+ but after I turned them back on there is still no response to any panel controls, no lights, no power, and the door is still locked.

How can I manually unlock the door and where do I go from here?

P.S. The peaches are ripe and I'm dying for a freshly baked peach pie

Shut the breaker off to the oven.

Make a hook out of a coat hanger and go in through the right side of the door and hook the latch and pull toward you.

It sound like you may have a wiring problem.

Once you have the door opened check in the control panel for burnt wires.

Here is a link to your oven model KEBS247D.
