Question No power
Brand: Frigidaire
Model Number: fes300ase
Age: 5 - 10 years

preheated oven to bake cookies. started smelling a burning plastic smell, oven stopped heating

checked stove top and none of the elements would heat up, and yet oven light works, digital clock is blinking "12:00"

looked under stove elements to see if range had fuses, couldn't find anything, range is built in.....do I need to move the range out?

checked circuit breaker for house and all was well

Can't afford new range or expensive repair

would appreciate any advise, help

Thank you,
Audrey

It sounds like a wire may have burnt off.

You will have to move it out to check where the wires go in to the back of the range.

Also check your wall outlet.

Make sure to turn your circuit breakers off be for you start.

Here is a link to your range model fes300ase.
