Default New stainless steel part for old GE Profile model
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: JVB67HBB
Age: 1 - 4 years

We are upgrading to stainless steel appliances but I don't want to replace the old downdraft with the blower (JVB67HBB)

One of the possibililties is to replace just the old black strip with the stainless steel one from the newer model (the old one only came in black and white).

In other words: would the new stainless steel top strip from JVB98SHSS replace the one from the older model JVB67HBB???

Thanks a lot!

If the part is mounted the same way that would be the most cost effective way to go.

Here is a link to a stainless steel model jvb98h1ss.

Thanks guys!

The real questio is would that part#7 from the new model fit the old one. GE rep says they can't guarantee it but there is a chance that they just wanted me to buy the new model...:-)

Do you know if the new stainless steel part (Costs about $150) fits my old model?

Appreciate the reply!

With out seeing the parts there is no way to tell if it will fit.

The only thing that you can do is order it and try it.
