Default New element, no heat
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: jsp69
Age: 5 - 10 years

I replaced the bake element and am still not getting any heat. Everything else on the unit works (including broil). I think it's a connection somewhere, but don't know where to start. I'm trying not to call in a repairman, unless absolutely have to. Please help.

Check the connection on the control.

Can you please supply the rest of your model number?

There should be a four to six more digit.

Here is a link to a generic breakdown with the partial model number JSP69.
