Default Neither bake nor broil elements heat
Brand: Kenmore
Model Number: 911.4658816
Age: More than 10 years

My Bake element burnt up. I replaced it but neither element heats. The stove top and all functions seem to work. The control panel show the pre-heat display but the elements do not heat.

Both termal fuses are open so as a test I bypassed them. The wall CB never blew. When I turn the CB off and on, the door locks and eventually opens but the fan runs continually. I have 247V to both element relays but obviously the realys are not making.

Is there any source where I can obtain a schematic? Having to guess at which component is bad could be very expensive. Any help would be appreciated.

Ray

If you have 247 volt to the relays but are not getting any voltage on the other side there is a problem with the relay board.

The wiring diagram should be with the range.

Here is a link to the parts of your range model 911.4658816.

Here is the part number for the relay board part number PS240005.
