Default Need to replace ceramic cooktop
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: JBP69BOH2BB
Age: 1 - 4 years

I accidentally dropped a cabinet knob onto my ceramic oventop and shattered part of the surface. I'm hoping that I only have to replace the ceramic oventop and not the entire stove, since it's less than 3 years old. Do you know if this is something that can be replaced, and if so, is it fairly easy and inexpensive to do? By inexpensive, I mean less than the cost of replacing the entire oven. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Knowing GE, probably really expensive plus there is a $50 shipping charge for glass. Just check partselect for price. Also, the labor will not be cheap.
