I have a stove purchased from Wards in Mar 1991. On the front of the stove it says"Montgomery Ward- Tappan". The model no on the stove is KTM-4889-878.
I have not been able to find this model no in any companies lists. I have tried Tappan and Frigidaire. I have been told Wards had their own model no's and I would have to find someone who has a set of Wards Microfinch's. This model number must convert to a standard Manufacturers model number. I need a Parts List/Manual for this stove. Can anyone help?

I all ready called that number, they refered me to Customer service. Customer service said that model number was for Wards and they had no info on it as it was built to Wards specifications and there was no comparable Tappan or Frigidaire model. They said Wards put their parts manuals on microfich and when Wards went out of business they did not integrate their parts list into the national parts lists. They said I would have to try to find a parts supplier that might still have a set of the Wards microfich's.

I guess this is a good reason to only buy major branded appliances in the future.
