Default Need new thermostat and owner's manual
Brand: Caloric
Model Number: RSD 398 UL

Hi:

I finally found a double-oven range that I've been looking for--a Caloric Prestige (no less!) model RDS 398 UL. I got it used and it needs a load of cleaning, but I think it'll be nice once I get through all the grime.

Been checking the parts sites and it seems like the thermostat for the upper oven is discontinued. The previous owner said that was the only thing wrong with the stove.

Anyone know of a good source for an NLA part like this? Are there people who rebuild thermostats?

Also, anyone know where I might find the owner's manual? Once it's hooked up I want to run the self-clean cycle on the bottom oven, but I want to make sure I do it right.

Thanks!

veg

If you take the thermostat out and take it to an appliance parts store they may be able to match something up for you.

As far as a manual unless you can find someone with the same range it does not look good.
