Default magic chef range beeping & displays F-1 HELP
Brand: Magic Chef
Model Number: 3868xra
Age: 5 - 10 years

I have a Majic Chef electric range that starts to beep and display F-1 in the clock display, can anyone tell me what this means? and how to fix it........

The F 1 code stands for a faulty touch pad or clock.

Unplug the range and disconnect the touch pad from the clock.

Plug the range back in.

If the code disappears it is the touch pad, it the code is still there it is the clock.
