i had the problem a couple of years ago of the oven not heating up and i replaced the ignitor and it fixed the problem well i just had the same problem again and this time when i replaced the ignitor it went red hot pretty fast and burned out, and idea's to the problem?

I would say it is possible you got a defective ignitor the second time. Also, maybe it's the valve?
