Default My oven isn't working, is it the computer???
Brand: Frigidaire
Model Number: FEF367CABA
Age: More than 10 years

I have a Frigidare self cleaning ceramic top oven/stove that when I close the oven door, it makes kind of a clicking/ticking noise. It almost sounds like a timer or something turning on then off, on then off, then on and off continuously. As I sit here and listen to it, it almost sounds like a thermostat turning off and on.I can't get my oven to work now. As long as we prop the door open, it will quit ticking noise, but still occasionally does the clicking.

The timer still works, the burners on the top part of the stove still works, the clock works, but the oven won't (no preheat, broil or bake). The self cleaning timer acts like it is going to work, then it shuts down.
Any ideas?

Model# FEF367CABA

I think it's a little more than 10 years old.

Check the locking mechanism and see if one of the switches are stuck.

It could be a problem in the clock/control.

Here is a link to your range model FEF367CABA.
