My oven door is in sthe lock position and won't close

Hey, I am so mad, I went to clean my oven and realized that I had something in there, so I opened the door and took it out, then tried to close the door back and the lock latch was out and the door won't close. I've tried everything, unplugging, plugging back after a few minutes, canceling, pressing the clean button!!!! Can wyou help?? Stove is 7 yrs old

Can you please supply your model number?

The model number can be found on a tag on the frame of the stove where the drawer closes.
