My bake element will not heat

Model Number: 2540B50
Age: Please select
I purchased a new bake ekement and replaced the new with the old. Bake element still will not heat. Broil works fine. What could be the problem?

It may be a problem with your control.

Can you please check your model number as I can not locate it in our database?

The model number should be on a tag on the frame of the oven where the drawer closes.
