Default Mouse made a home under cooktop
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: MER6772B
Age: 5 - 10 years

Need instruction on how to lift the cooktop to clean under it. The diagram at Partselect isn't helpful to me. I have the top loose but it appears to be attached somewhere near the center. I don't see any screws looking from inside the oven below the cooktop. There is a dome light inside the oven near where the cooktop appears to be attached ---but I don't see a way to remove the lamp cover either.
