Question Message showing F7
Brand: Jenn-Air
Model Number: SVE47600W
Age: More than 10 years

The panel displays an "F 7" and "beeps" randomly. We unplug the stove and let it stand overnight or more and it will reset for approximately 1-2 days without beeping. It seems if we use the timer or the fan on the downdraft the problem begins sooner. The "Cancel/Off" button can be pressed relieving the situation very temporarily but burner controls or any other controls are inoperable until stove resets after being unplugged for more than an hour or so. Can you help?

The F 7 is a stuck key on the switch membrane.

You will have to replace the membrane.

Here is a link to the part of your range model SVE47600W.
