Brand: Maytag
Age: 5 - 10 years

I have a maytag built in gas wall oven
The ignitor glows but get no flame
I replaced the gas valve and still no go
Anybody else have this problem ?

Can you please supply your model number?

Check the resistance of the igniter.

Do you smell gas?

I have no way to check resistance
There is no gas smell

i ALSO HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM WITH MY mAYTAG. tHE INGINITOR GLOWS AND GETS HOT BUT NO GAS COMES OUT. aNYONE KNOW WHAT THIS PART PROBLE IS?

You igniter is likely the cause.

Thanks, I received the same answer elsewhere about putting out insuffient ampers
