Post Maytag Gemini Touchpad replacement
Brand: Please select
Model Number: MER6785AAW
Age: 5 - 10 years

It seems that the lower cancel button on the touchpad is stuck, sometimes clearing on power up but re-sticking when it is pushed. Can anyone tell me how to remove the front cover to expose the circuitry? There appears to be some really good adhesive holding keeping it together. If I can get to it, I am thinking of spraying it with electonic cleaner and if that doesn't work, I guess I will have to replace it, though I have not been able to find a part number for just the touchpad assembly. Thanks,

Can you please verify your model number as I can't locate it in our database.

Most of the time the over lay is not a removable part and more damage can occur trying.

the membrane does come off, but I couldn't find anything that was noticable. After searching alot of on line parts suppliers, I got a new control panel assembly which comes with the touchpad.
