Default Magic Chef seals
Brand: Magic Chef
Model Number: KW5667
Age: More than 10 years

Hi All,

I have a 35 year old Magic Chef dual oven range that needs the inside door seals replaced. The top inside seal on the top range is 19 1/2" long and the bottom door seal is 19" long. The model # is worn off the tag but I think it says KW5667.
That# does not enter into the parts select search criteria. The only 2 door seals I saw on parts select are 17 1/2" and 15 1/2". They have metal hooks on the end as does the originals. Will the 17 1/2" new seal stretch to fit 19 1/2" or is that the final size.

Thanks,
Kevin

Default

Without the model number it is very hard to get parts.

What is the gasket made out of?

Default Found gaskets

Sheila,

I found the gaskets on-line. Almost cheaper to buy a new door but nonetheless they arrived and are on the door.

Thanks,
Kevin
