Default Magic Chef Oven heating problem
Brand: Magic Chef
Model Number: 9475vvv
Age: More than 10 years

Dear Partselect,

Tonight my oven did a good job baking my rolls at 350 degrees but come time for the cookies to be baked the oven wouldn't heat up past 170-175 degrees when I set it to 350. I saw in another thread that someone with a similar problem was advised about the "Clock sensor" Or "Control" can't remember right now. I opened the bottom up and saw the heating element and the pipe where the natural gas comes in but thought I best ask before I start breaking more stuff.

thanks in advance for this wonderful site and the excellent help!
Bekm

It sound like you have a bad igniter.

Here is a link to your range model 9475vvv.

If the oven sensor is bad you would get a could in the display.
