Default Lower Element Not Heating
Brand: Hotpoint
Model Number: R B787W B1WW
Age: 5 - 10 years

Lower Element Will Not Heat, Replaced New Dec. 06.
Upper Brolier Element Heats Up, Enter Changed Upper Broiler Element With Lower Element. Lower Element Heats Up Fine In The Upper Element Connection.
All Others Appliance Elements/features Work Fine.

Could There Be A Problem In The Digital Control Swithch (erc).

Any Suggestions?

Check the wiring connection at the control.

If they are good replace the control.
