I have the same problem with mine, but mine is a gas buner same model. If I set bake it use to set it's default temp at 350 degrees, but now it will set it as 180 degree and you can manually set it only up to 260 degrees, please help, the only thing I did was use the self clean process before this failure, I don't use my oven to much. I would think it might be the digital curcuit board might need to be replace. Please HELP me too!!1

Thanks

Frankie

I wanted to paste the URL so no typos????????????????

Thx Sheila.
‘Err’ is what the screen said. It’s not on any error code lists.

I figured out the silly solution was a toggle between degrees F and C. It was very frustrating and the unknowledgeable KitchenAid reps offered HORRIBLE help. To help others, I was trying to paste a link to another blog with solution and more info, but it wouldn’t paste. No clue.

Then I started a new thread on your site with a better-described title and it didn’t post. Instead it went to a moderator screening cue. Anyway I tried. If you can post my other thread, it may help others avoid frustrations I encountered.
Thx
