Kenmore rf 8" burner intermittent too hot Brand: Please select Model Number: 911.95508990 /1 sears. com changes last digit to a 1 Age: 5 - 10 years We replaced the electronic control panel several months on our Kenmore built out of GE parts but I believe assembled by Wirlpool in Tulsa OK plant due to the plastic housing being cracked and a button failing to work. But had the intermittent overheating right 8" 2000 watt wb30T10045 front burner (as you face it) problem both prior to and after the replacement of the control panel assy. My background says the halient burner unit assemblys integral sensor/regulator is failing am I correct? I can only find this burner element regulator marketed as an halient burner assembly part # listed above. Does anyone sell the regulator/sensor part of the unit or it this just another GE gotya. I am never buying another GE product again and am doing research from now on prior to buying anything with the possibility of having their parts in it. Nothing I have ever owned since the early 80's mfg'd by GE lasted a fraction as long as it should. I can not get even 5 years from any of their stuff. I paid twice the money I felt I should have to avoid their dishwasher parts because the last one was a disaster in more ways than one (yes GE parts again) and got a Jenn Air just one problem with a $4 plastic tub pulley on it , and a fridge that only lasted 5 years, and now the oven for the second time only the vent a hood left to break not much on it to go wrong. |
