Anytime the oven is set to bake or broil the indicator light that says "lock door" flashes. However, when it is set to self-clean mode the broil element does not. I replaced the bake element and checked all wiring but it's solid. Could this be a thermostat or do you think it might be the entire control panel?

From what you are saying it sound like it is in the clock control.
