Default Kenmore Oven Hinge Removal
Brand: Kenmore
Model Number: 719.7859093
Age: More than 10 years

The left hinge on my Kenmore(Frigidaire) oven door dropped a rivet . Once the door is lifted off the hinge how do I remove the hinge to replace it? I'm not sure how to access the hinge itself from the body of the oven.
Thanks in advance.

If you have a storage drawer under the door you can take it out and access the door springs through the opening. Unhook the springs and rehook to the new spring. The hinge bracket should have three screws on the face of the oven frame.

Thanks Woodchuck,
I'll check out the storage drawer to remove the springs. I know there's only one screw on the face of the oven but hopefully that's all that holds the hinge assy.
