Open the oven door and remove the two screws that hold the cooktop down.
Uses a 12" piece of would to hold the top up while you change the element.
Remove the two screws that hold the retaining bar.

We need a diagram for replacing the large left front burner on our Kenmore glass top range. #790,92324302. We aren't sure why it quit working as the stove is not that old. May80
