Unhappy Kenmore electric range
Brand: Kenmore
Model Number: 79045669102
Age: 5 - 10 years

My oven continuously heats even when it's off. I have tried the suggestion of turning off the power for a while and then power up again but as soon as i turn the braker back on the oven turns on as well and after a period of time the F1 code and the beeping alarm sounds. I'm wondering if it's the Electronic Oven Control that has gone bad. Is there a way to check it to make sure I'm ordering the right part?

Yes the F1 code does stand for a faulty clock/control.

Here is a link to the parts of your range model 79045669102.
