Brand: Jenn-Air
Model Number: sce30600w
Age: Please select

We have an older Jenn-air range that would sometimes not get up to temp. You would press Bake and then the temp but the display would only get up to 140. When you try and cancel and reset, none of the buttons on the left side would work. You would have to reset the circuit breaker the oven was on to reset it. Most of the time it would then start working, but now it will not work at all. The buttons on the right side work fine. We replaced the clock display last year after the display went dim. What we are wondering now is whether we need to be looking at replacing the touchpad membrane assembly or the relay control. Both are pricey items, so I would hate to order the wrong one. The elements on top work great, just the oven is having issues. Any assistance would be appreciated. We are going to try and repair it one more time and then I think it is time for a new appliance.

With what you have described it sound more like the touch pad membrane that will need to be replaced.

Check the wiring connection from the membrane to the clock before you order the membrane.

Here is a link to your range model sce30600w.
