Default Jenn Aire wall oven not working
Brand: Jenn-Air
Model Number: WM2780W
Age: More than 10 years

Oven recently would work but if temp was lowered and reset it would turn off. The attempts to reset would not work. A few hours or day later could work again. Now cannot set any heating function, nothing shows up on display, clock will set up, and if I push probe key pad it will light up but nothing else happens. Thanks Bob

It sound like the control has failed.

Here is a link to your oven model WM2780W.

Here is the control.

How would one know if it might be touch pad? Does the fact that the pad responds when touching probe pad and clock pad indicate that the touch pad works? Thanks Bob

Yes because the touch pad is responding that would indicate that it is good.

Thank you for the information. I ordered the control from PartSelect.com and received it today. Installed it and works great. I appreciate all the help. Bob
