I got the first error code in November. Tech told us to replace switch assembly. When it arrived we were told, "no wrong part, you need clock assembly" I replaced the clock assembly this morning and am still getting FC. I have checked and rechecked all wires to clock. Please help, I haven't had a working oven since the week before Thanksgiving.

The fc stand for fault code.


Does the clock show any codes like f1, f3 or f9?

Just FC with constant, loud, beeping. According this site


it means Communication error between boards. So don't understand why Jenn-aire tech service keeps telling us to buy different parts.

That is correct it is a communication error but usually there is a number code that let you know what part of the circuit is giving the problem.

If it is not giving a code other than fc it is likely the control.

To make sure it might be suggested that you have a qualified Jenn-air technician look at it.
