Cool Jenn-Air W130 Element Failure
Brand: Jenn-Air
Model Number: W130
Age: More than 10 years

The broiler element in my Jenn-Air Oven (Model W130 s/n 925998XT) is only working on the left side. I have found the part in the PartSelect catalog (PS1508606 ELEMENT, BROIL) and plan to order it immediately.

My question is: Does the element simply unplug from the back of the oven or do I have to pull the unit out of its cabinet and work outside the oven enclosure?

Thanks for any advice !

You can remove the element from the inside of the oven.

If the element is working on one side it is also working on the other.

The electricity runs through the element so if there was a break on one side the element would not glow at all.

Here is a link to your oven model w130.
