Default Jenn Air oven won't heat at all
Brand: Jenn-Air
Age: 5 - 10 years

We have a Jenn Air electric oven that was given to us. Within the first week it starting flashing F1 and beeping, and would do so throughout the day. Then one day it stopped. Now a couple of months later it won't heat. You push BAKE and the temp will come on and the fan...but does not heat. The broil doesn't work either. I don't know the model #, but I have a picture instead. Hope this helps. Thanks.

The model number can be found on the edge of the oven on a tag with the serial number.

Open the oven door and look along the bottom edge of the oven for the tag.

The F 1 code is a stuck key or a failed clock.

Where your oven started working again it was likely a stuck key.

Have you check the breakers or fuses in your home.

There are two breakers and if one has tripped the clock will still work.

Check for a burnt wire in the control panel.
