Default Jenn-Air Membrane Switch
Brand: Jenn-Air
Model Number: jgr8875qdw
Age: 1 - 4 years

About half the buttons on the touch pad stopped working today (some on left side, some on right). No fault codes are displayed. I disconnected and cleaned the ribbon cables with no improvement. I'm unable to locate the part number for the membrane switch for this model on any of the part dealers' websites, however the ribbon cable has a "P/N 7403P865-60". Does anyone know a source for this part?

Thanks!

I did not see a touch pad for that #. It is possible that it comes with the board. That part # is 74009154. Call your local part house, and ask them. Lots of times, the come together. Good Luck Tom

Question

It turns out that the touch pad is sold together with the front panel - part # 74008631. I ordered this from PartSelect but the part I received did not have the buttons for convection bake or convection broil. PartSelect confirmed that I had ordered the correct part for my model. I thought that perhaps they pulled the wrong part from stock, but there is no part # marked on the part I received so I can't determine that. PartSelect was very helpful and agreed to a refund for the part. In the meantime I've ordered this same part # from Maytag (hoping it will be correct), but it is back ordered until January.

So, does anybody have any ideas of how to get the oven to work until I get the correct part?

Did the part # I gave you change over to the # they gave you. You can look the part up yourself at Sears Parts. Just google sears parts, and put your model # in and match your mfg #, and check it out. Tom
