Default Jenn Air Fault Codes
Brand: Jenn-Air
Model Number: JJW9530AAB
Age: 5 - 10 years

About a month ago the clock on our Jenn Air wall oven started to dim and then went out completely. I replaced the clock assembly. I tested the oven and it worked. I then did a 3 hour self clean on the oven and it ran through the cycle and cleaned like it should. The next morning when I woke up the upper fan unit was on. I tried the oven but it would not work. If you pressed bake 350 it would go to preheat for about a second, nothing would happen and then it would kick out of that cycle and an F2 error code would appear. At this time the broiler would work. The clock would work but you'd get the F2 code and beeping. The fan could not be shut off.
I'm assuming I have one of two problems, either it's the oven tempature sensor or the power relay board. My thought is probably it's the oven tempature sensor. Is there a way to confirm this? I hate to order the power relay board if it's not that.
Also, is there any reason why when the clock control board went bad it would take one of these other units out with it? It seems like they should be indpendent but the listings I'm seeing on the forum are indicating that others are having problems with more than one control panel or unit. Thank you.

Default

Should read approximately 1100 ohms at 75 degrees F
Resistance should increase with temperature increase
