Default Jenn-Air burner removal to change counter
Brand: Jenn-Air
Model Number: C202
Age: More than 10 years

How should I remove the 4-burner and blower assembly to replace counter top? The combined assembly seems pretty heavy. Does the blower and assembly "box" accessable from underneath the burners remove from the top frame houseing the 4 burners, or must the entire assembly be removed from the top?

Disconnect the power to the unit.

There should be some screws holding the blower assembly to the bottom of the unit.

There is likely anchors holding the burner box to the counter top.

It may be easier to leave the blower attracted to the unit they are not that heavy.

Here is a link to the break down to your cook top model C202.
