We purchased this radiant cooktop (Jenn-Air JEC0536) a year ago and the centre in the triple element will not turn on (the other 2 are ok). Do I have to replace the 3 burners and how do I get to them?

This is a radiant cooktop. There is no back panel, unless you mean under the unit were the blower is situated. And would the switch only affect the center of a triple burner. Thanks

On that product, you would have to take it out, and flip it upside down, and take the backside of the cooktop off, so you can check the element, and the switch. Ofcourse will will cut the breaker off. You can reach me at my website at ApplianceEducator.com Tom

Most Jenn-Air have a 3 year parts warrentty on MOST NOT ALL electic parts. Call them and ask them to send needed parts.
