Default Installing Latch, Door Assembly (P# 120899)
Brand: Jenn-Air
Model Number: SVD48600W
Age: 5 - 10 years

I just purchased a Latch, Door Assembly for my Jenn-Air Range...part #120899. (By the way, I ordered it yesterday and it arrived today. Great!!) Now I need to install it. Before I take everything apart I have looked over the range and it appears that if I remove the top of the range then I will be able to access what I need to make the installation. Is that the way to go with this? Thanks for your helpl.

Yes.

If you remove the top you will have access to the door latch.
