Default Igniter replacement problem
Brand: Frigidaire
Model Number: FGF379WECN
Age: 5 - 10 years

Hope someone can help! I know the procedure to replace the igniter(1 is cracked no spark), must lift stove top, but disconnect the burners first. There's 3 screws holding burner to stove top, well the screws snaped off. I stoped at one burner with 2 screws snaped, my question is can I drill out the snaped screws and replace them with a self tapping screw or do I have to replace the whole burner head a costly part ( if all the screws snap on all the burners very costly)?

You should use what is called an easy out.

You should be able to purchase them at any place that sell tools.
