Lightbulb Igniter glows, NO GAS, GE oven, RANGE OK
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: 97870
Age: Please select

Over course of months, oven would light less & less reliably. Once started, it worked fine and maintained temperature for as long as needed. No gas delivered to igniter. Rangetop is fine. Installed Mar., 2000

Finally would not start at all. IGNITER glows BRIGHTLY when oven dial turned on, but no GAS delivered to igniter.

leave callback number, or email

THANKS

It is likely a faulty valve.

Can you please supply your model number?

The model number is found on the frame of the range where the drawer closes.

Needs Ignitor. Even Though It Glows Not Enough To Open Valve.
