Brand: Jenn-Air
Model Number: JES9860AAW
Age: 5 - 10 years

I received the surface ingitor switch. Can you tell me which screws I unscrew and how I replace this part? I am a repair dummy.

You will have to remove the control panel to replace your switch.

Turn the power off to the range.

Open the oven door and remove the screws securing the control panel.

Remove the screws located on the right and left sides of the control panel.

Grasp the control panel on the far left and right sides and gently pull the control panel out and down.

Remove the knob of the switch that you are going to replace.

Remove the two screws holding the switch in place.

One at a time remove the wires from the old switch to the new switch.

The switches are marked.

Reassemble in the reverse order.
