I have the same problem with my XL44 GE gas stove. The humming is quite loud and lasts about three hours then stops. It seems that the noise is coming from the timer/clock/oven control panel.

What are you doing with the stove when the noise starts?

Can you please supply your model number?

The model number can be found on the frame of the stove where the drawer closes.

The stove/range is off. Generally I am tucked up in bed as the buzzing starts around 3:00 AM and continues to around 8:30AM.
The model number is JGBP35WEVWW
Cheers,

It sounds like you may have to replace the clock.

Here is a link to the parts of your range model JGBP35WEV1WW.
