Question How To Replace GE Glass Cooktop
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: JBP78A0B1AA
Age: 5 - 10 years
I have the glass maintop kit assembly for my GE range. We have heard that it is fairly easiy to replace. Would you be able to provide insturdctions??

Disconnect the power from the range.

Open the oven door and remove the screws that hold the top down.

Lift the top and label and remove the wiring from the burners.

Lift the top of the hinges.

Install element on new top and reinstall.
